Personal introduction

About myself My name is Nilay.I am 24 years old.I was born in Turkey. I live in Alanya. I graduated food and beverage department in high school. I have worked in the kitchen of hotels before, gaining a lot of job experience. I graduated public relations at the university. I have learned English in school and courses before but I cannot improve it sufficientlly because we don’t speak English in our daily lives.I want to go to America because I want to improve my English. After improving my English in the United States I plan to return to Turkey and pursue my master degree. The best way to learn English is by practicing with native English speakers, so I want to come to America for that reason. About my family My mother name is Ayşe. She is single mom. She is a retired and she is 58 years old. I have a brother. My brother name is Ozan. He is 26 years old and he is an officer. We enjoy travelling together, having picnics and spending time with other relatives. I love them so much. We always laugh when we are together. My familt guides me and always wishes the best for me. About my chilcare experiences The children stayed with us during the day because their parents were working. I played games with them, drew pictures and did coloring activities. I also helped them with their homework.Their name is Ela and Asya. Ela was 9 years old. Due to the pandemix, we had remote education and we were at home.I helped Ela with her lesson. Ela’s sister’s name is Asya. Asya was 4 years old. We cooked together,played games at the park, it was also enjoyable for me. I was like their older sister. And take care of my aunt’s granddaughter. Her name is Tuana. She was 8 months old. She was a beloved baby as she was the first grandchild. I take care of Tuana until I go to America. Additionaly I helped with light household chores and cooking. Why do I want to be an au-pair? I really love children. I have some childcare experinece.This program is great way to improve my English. I think it will be an amazing experience because I want to learn about your culture try to food and embrace your language. About my educational and Professional goals When I return to my country I want to do my master degree. This experience will take me one step ahead of other people. I want to get better at what I do.
