We would like to welcome an au pair who likes animals and children ideally with reasonable English and capable of sharing their language with our children. Our Au Pair should be outgoing and engaging, able to support our children with their schoolwork and wiling to engage in their play. All our previous Au Pairs have joined in with family activities including sitting with us for dinner and joining us on days out. We are Pete, aged 46 and Bryony aged 43 and we have two children aged 10 and 12. We live in the countryside in Hampshire, near to Andover, Salisbury and Winchester. Our house is in a small, quiet village where we have a local bus route and train station very close which will be able to visit the local areas. . We live with Pete's older daughter who also works - so we have lots of adults but no one is at home to look after the children before and after school or during the holidays.
Our Au Pair will be required to ensure the children are up for school in the mornings and collect our children from the bus after school. One son gets homework every day and he will need to be supported in getting this completed, our daughter gets homework on a Wednesday and will need support to complete this by the end of the week. We require our Au Pair to complete the laundry for our children and help keep the house tidy, especially with their belongings and those of the children. The children should keep their space tidy but need strong encouragement to do this
