We live on site at a school in beautiful grounds 30 mins from central London by train. I work with children with special needs while training to be a therapist and my wife works for a tech company in central London. We are a active, warm and friendly couple who communicate well, with respect and love. This will be our first child and he will be 6 months when the au pair starts in late August. We would like somebody with ambition who sees being an au pair as part of their journey, rather than the final destination. We want somebody who understands the importance of family, and will show our child the same love and respect they would their own. We will support the au pair in their development (language, studies or travel) as much as we can. The au pair is not expected to drive but there is access to a car (depending on insurance costs, age etc.)
The childcare will mainly be between Monday - Thursday. Occasional hours may be required on other days, but a flexible approach is best. To contribute towards the cleaning and cooking will be expected (we all do our fair share).
