We are 2 working parents looking for an Au pair to help us with our 3 children. Leigh is 7 and goes to school till 3PM, Eirinn is 3 and she goes to preschool till 12PM. The 2 year old will need to be minded for most of the day. We have had au pairs before and I have been an au pair myself when I first arrived in Ireland. I am French and my husband is Irish. Our family is all about making sure to enjoy life to the full and ensuring that everybody is happy in the house.
The Au pair, will need to help with getting the kids ready in the morning, collecting the girls from preschool and school. To felicitate the school runs, the au pair will need to drive and therefor will need to have a clean full driving licence, as I she would need to drive my car. The main task for the Au pair will be the children. We are looking for someone who is nice, friendly, creative, loves children and has the patience to invest time into getting ideas to entertain them. She will need to be dynamic as for us it is important to get the kids active, take them to the park and play with them. As the au pair will share the house with us, we would expect a small contribution to the chores of the house, the same as she would do if it was her own home. It is important that we all help maintain the house in good shape, so we can all enjoy and relax in a nice and tidy house. We all participate and we also try to teach our kids to clean and tidy up after themselves.
