We are a family living in South West London, on a quiet street close to a park, shops, restaurants and enjoy easy access to the City Centre. My husband and I both work full time. Ben is a Chartered Surveyor and I'm a Marketing Executive. We have two children: Freddie who is 7 years old and Matilda (Tilly) who is 5. Both attend schools walking distance away. Both are confident, energetic, entertaining and caring. We are a fun loving, happy family, who have had a very enjoyable first experience of having an au pair and are looking forward to welcoming somebody new to join us. You will be counted as very much part of our family.
We are looking for someone friendly, caring, confident and trustworthy, who will act as a responsible big sister to our two children. As we parents work, your daily responsibilities will be to get the children up in the morning, dressed and breakfasted, before walking them to school. You will need to prepare a pack lunch for our daughter. Thereafter you will then be free until collecting them both in the afternoon. You will need to prepare supper for them (so we would like someone who can cook), bathe them and get them ready for bed and perhaps listen to them read, before we arrive home. This will be the routine until the children break up for the holidays in July. Thereafter the daily weekday schedule will vary to include taking and collecting them from holiday clubs and some additional childcare during the day but any additional hours will be compensated for by additional time / days off or remuneration. You will be expected to launder the children's clothes and tidy their bedrooms. We may also ask you to babysit (never more than twice a week - and rarely that much), but otherwise the evenings and weekends, throughout your stay, will be yours. We will provide you with your own private bedroom with TV, DVD player and WIFI at the top of the house. It has an adjacent bathroom, which you will only share with the children.
