We are a lovely family of three, the mum, Flavia, is Brazilian, 38 years old and speaks Portuguese, German and fluent English; dad, Chris, is British, 37 years old and our sweet daughter Gaby who is 2 years old, she speaks both Portuguese and English. Mum does not work. Dad is a state agent in London and commutes everyday. We do not have any pets. We live in Beaconsfield, a village in Buckinhamshire, that has got a train-line direct to London Marylebone (25minutes), which has lots of trains going to London all day. Beaconsfield is a lovely, charming village, with lots of shops, supermarkets (Sainsburys, Waitrose and M&S), restaurants, bars and coffees. We live in a three bedroom house, you will have your own bedroom with shared bathroom with the daughter.
We are looking for a non-smoking friendly au-pair who is kind, honest, reliable with level of English enough to communicate well with the family. Your working hours would be about 4 hours a day (roughly), and one babysitting a week, plus 1 Saturday/Sunday babysitting a month. You will have the whole weekend free from Friday 6pm to Monday morning at 8am (exception the evening of baby sitting). Your duties will be to keep the house clean and tidy, making yours and the toddler’s beds, help with the washing, some ironing (only a few of the toddlers clothes, not much at all), help clearing up after dinner and hovering the floor during the week. We have a cleaner that comes once a week.
