We are a family with three dynamic children, Amber (girl, 5), Tamar (girl, 3) and Thijmen (boy, 1), all three full of positive energy. Amber loves to draw, dance and listen to stories, knows what she wants and enjoys going to school and play with her friends. Tamar loves playing outside and listen to music, is very determined and is crazy of her baby brother. Thijmen is a sweetheart and enjoys discovering the world. We live in Driebergen (The Netherlands) which is a village in the middle of a National Park yet also very close to the historical city Utrecht. Dorien and I (Bastiaan) are both 37 years old and are working 4 and 5 days a week respectively. Next to our busy life with work and childeren, we enjoy sports and meeting with friends and family. Amber is going to school while Tamar and Thijmen are going to childeren daycare for two days a week. Tamar will also go to school from April 2015 onwards. We are looking for an enthousiastic and independent female au pair of minimal 21 years old who loves to take care of and play with childeren and is capable of dealing with strong young personalities in a positive way. We find it important that you can ride a bike (a delivery bicycle), speak english and have previous experience with taking care of childeren. We warmly welcome you to be part of our family during the week whilst leaving the weekend up to your own discretion. You will have your own private room and bathroom in a seperated building with TV/Radio and internet.
In general we ask you to take care of the kids during the week for some 30 hours. 4 out of 5 days, you will help the kids get dressed in the morning, make their breakfast and bring them to school/daycare while in the afternoon get them from school/daycare and prepare dinner for all of us. Two days a week you will look after Thijmen and Tamar (until April 2014) for the complete day. Also, we ask you to bring the kids to swimming or hockey practise when needed and help us with the laundry and ironing (we have a cleaning lady) In the weekends you are generally free to discover and enjoy The Netherlands and meet with friends.
