We are a German/Spanish family looking for a warm, fun and active Spanish au pair for our 2 lovely twin boys. We are an active and busy family with some holidays in Mallorca where we would like you to come with us. We are looking for somebody who genuinely loves to spend time with children, who is fun, flexible, very organised and social. Who still wants to improve their English and might go to an Language school.
Working hours: 30 hrs/week incl. 2 nights/week babysitting • Sunday free. Your general duties would include: • General light housekeeping –loading/unloading dishwashers/washing machines, tidying the kitchen after meals, tidy children’s bedrooms/bathroom/play areas • Preparing simple but healthy meals for the children and you and helping at meals time • Taking and collecting children from nursery and bring them to activities/playgroups Entertaining the children with creative, sporty and educational activities • We have a cleaner twice a week, so no cleaning except for your room and light cleaning/tidying after the boys. We offer a lovely room in a Victorian house with TV, DVD and WiFi and a ensuit bathroom. The house is located just off Clapham junction. Our ideal candidate should be: • Warm and polite, sweet and fun loving, after an initial shyness our children loves cuddles ☺ • Organised and tidy • Have a minimum of 3 years experience with children at a similar age 1-3 years Provide 1 checkable references -Have an intermediate/average level of English Able to commit for a minimum of 1 year •Have a valid permit to live and work in the UK •Driving licence is a useful plus •Non-smoker, 4 weeks paid holiday.
