We live in a lovely part of Greater London, in Sunbury on Thames. It is a quiet, attractive location by the river Thames with a train into Central London and lots of access to many things to do - Kingston is a short bus ride away with 500 shops and we are close to Hampton Court Palace, Windsor, Royal Bushy Park and lots more. We can send you information on things to do. We are a very happy family and we have lots of friends and interests. You would be made very welcome.
I am an English language teacher and we have always offered Homestay and language lessons in our home. We have lots of happy students. We have recently adopted a young child and from January we are interested in finding people who want to come and stay, be part of the family, and improve their English dramatically but who are also prepared to be independent and want much more time off than an Au Pair would. In exchange for a reduced stay rate, we would like one hours help per day only (5 days per week) with household chores and to very occasionally play with and watch our 18 month old whilst I am nearby. You are welcome to spend some time with us and we have great relationships with our students/au pairs but we do need people who can get the balance between being part of the family but knowing we need our own space, particularly as a couple in the evenings. We offer stays of between 2 weeks to 2-3 months. We will send many more details to answer all your questions.
