We are looking for a French au-pair who will help with our 2 daughters, our eldest is 3 years and goes to nursery each morning, I will look after our new baby. but you may be asked to hold her whilst I shower or prepare dinner. Ideally you would take my eldest daughter to the park or horse riding or swimming whilst the baby naps and I work from home in the afternoons. Most of your time will be spent with me (mum) or nearby. You may be asked to babysit once a week in the evenings. One morning or afternoon per week will be to help with household chores such as vacuuming. 4 mornings or afternoons will be for looking after my daughter. There will be lots of free time and most weekends will be free for you to travel or relax. Really we would like someone who is happy to become part of the family and will join us for family meals and activities. I work part-time and often from home. My husband works full-time. If we go on holiday there will be the option for you to join us. We have a 4 bedroom house with 3 bathrooms on the edge of a small village. You will have your own room. There is a train to the large city of Leeds which takes 20 minutes and there are country houses, parks and walks nearby. A car driver would be ideal. We have a car you can use. We like walking, going to the gym, music, films and cooking. I speak a little French. We are a happy household. We have no pets.
One child to care for and occasional help with the baby, taking her for walks, reading and swimming. We are happy for you to speak in English or French. Sometimes we spend weekends in the countryside, you could come with us or you can have those weekends free-it's up to you. Only 25 hours per week to work, mainly looking after the children, plus one night babysitting. You can help with cooking if you enjoy it but I cook most evenings Help with washing, hoovering, tidying when necessary. One day per week will be solely for this. There will be time for you to relax, travel or study. My husband and I are home at weekends so you will have 2 free days per week mostly weekends. You will also have your evenings free. We are flexible so please ask.
