We’re a warm, multicultural family of three living in London – Clement is French, Maripaz is Costa Rican, and our daughter Sofia just turned one. We speak French, Spanish, and English at home and are looking for someone kind, reliable, and caring to become part of our daily life and help care for Sofia during the weekdays. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children, is proactive and trustworthy, and feels comfortable living with a young family. Ideally, you’re also calm, patient, and playful – someone who will enjoy spending time with Sofia, helping her explore and grow. In return, we offer a warm and respectful home environment, a spacious private room with your own bathroom, full board, and pocket money – as well as support settling into life in London.
The role is mainly to care for our one-year-old daughter Sofia from Monday to Friday, approximately 8:30am to 6pm. Responsibilities include playing with her, preparing her meals, changing her, putting her down for naps, and taking her out for walks or to nearby playgroups. We also expect help with light household tasks related to the baby — such as tidying up her play area, cleaning the high chair after meals, and doing her laundry. As part of the family, we’d also appreciate someone who’s happy to participate in daily family life and help out around the house where needed. We’re ideally looking for someone who can start around the end of July or early August and stay with us until at least December 2025.
