We are a fun loving, social and friendly family living near central London (Clapham/Wimbledon, 15 minutes on the train to central London), looking to host our 3rd aupair. We have 2 young boys. Our eldest is 4 and starts school in September and our youngest is 2. My husband works in the week and I work 3 days a week. Our eldest son is brilliant! Fun loving, happy, VERY active. He sleeps and eats well and is a joy to be around. At the moment he loves Superheros, cars, dinosaurs and running around playing 'chase' and lots of games. He is very excited about starting school. Our youngest son is similar, he's starting to talk and his little personality is really starting to develop. He is very smiley and loves having people around. He also eats and sleeps well and they both play together already and are becoming the best of friends. Our eldest will be at school 5 days a week and our youngest will be at nursery 2 days a week. We can offer a lovely, open and relaxed home. Your own bedroom with use of the top floor of our house, lots of help finding aupair social groups (there are lots of au pairs in our neighbourhood), wireless internet and a contribution to a UK sim card.
Key tasks will include, Help with looking after the children in the mornings c7-9am, then at dinner and bed time c5-7pm, Monday to Fridays. Also 1 full day 1 day a week. All times are to be agreed when the position starts, we are happy to be flexible around you too if we can. You will have 2 full days off a week. This will include, Helping with meal times, bathing and bed times Some School and Nursery drop offs and pick ups Taking them to the park and playing lots of games with them Helping them draw, painting and doing puzzles etc Light household duties such as help preparing their food, emptying the dishwasher, brushing and mopping the floors after meals (food often ends up on the floor!), kids laundry, cleaning up after yourself and keeping your room clean and tidy, clearing up the toys We would also like to include 1-2 nights of babysitting a week sometimes. (We don't stay out late :)) We are keen for our aupair to have a fun time, enjoy London and feel at home with us. We would like someone that will respect our family time in the evenings and parts of the weekends. It is key your are independent, confident, responsible, fun loving and have A LOT of energy. Our boys are very active and are always running around so you'll need to be able to keep up :). We need someone with good English, ideally has experience looking after young children (under 5 years old), is comfortable with open communication, is honest, independent, organised and very proactive. We are looking for someone to start immediately. We very much look forward to hearing from you :)
