Hi - We moved to the UK from Ireland in 2016 and are both teachers. We are looking for someone who has a big heart with plenty of space for our little girl who is due to start school in September. At the weekends, we like to go to the cinema, walks in the forest and swimming (for example). We will be moving into a larger house in July - before you arrive - so you will have your own room. We generally are up early M-F as we both have to be work - our daughter will need your help to get to school in the morning time. At the weekends, she loves to go on "dates" with one of us such as the cinema on a Saturday morning while in the afternoon, we'll always go somewhere as a family. At the minute, we love visiting castles and palaces around the area. We're always looking for new places to visit and new adventures to be had.
We would ask that you help get our daughter's breakfast ready in the morning while we help her get dressed. We would ask that you bring her to school in the mornings and once she's in school, the rest of the day would be mainly your own - with some light housework required such as taking clothes out of the washing machine etc or putting away groceries that have been delivered. When her school day ends, we would need you to collect her and give her an after school snack and possibly take her to some after school activities. Due to us being teachers, we would normally be home around 5pm or so. There may be an evening every so often whereby both of us have to work late for parent/teacher meetings but these dates will be confirmed at the start of the school term. Our little girl has a health condition called periodic fever syndrome - there may be times whereby she cannot attend school and will need minding at home, whereby she likes to movies on the sofa and relax under a duvet - However, this would only be required of you during school term - during school holidays, we will both be home. Due to us being home during school holidays, you will still be paid for this time but you will not be required to be available for the full duration of the school holidays or at weekends. This will be spoken about more during the interview stage.
