Dear Host Family, My name is Joy, and I am a 25year-old from the Philippines. I am writing to express my genuine interest in joining your family as your next au pair. I want to become an au pair because it gives me a unique opportunity to discover a new culture, learn a new language, and at the same time gain valuable life experience. I love working with children and being a supportive and secure person in their everyday lives. As an older sister [and aunt/godmother], caring for and guiding younger ones comes very naturally to me. For me, the au pair life is about cultural exchange—sharing my own background while experiencing life from the inside of a new family. It is an adventure that allows me to grow as a person and build meaningful relationships for life. I am a responsible, patient, and adaptable person who is eager to help out with childcare and light household duties.
