Dear Host Family, My name is Leonie, I’m 20 years old and from Germany. I’m currently studying English and History at university to become a teacher, and I already work as a substitute teacher alongside my studies. I graduated from school in July 2024 and started university in October. As part of my degree, I’m required to spend time in an English-speaking country—something I’m genuinely excited about, not only to improve my language skills but also to experience a new culture and way of life. Becoming an au pair is the perfect opportunity for me to combine my love for working with children, my passion for education, and my curiosity for new experiences. I’m a very positive, open-minded, and creative person. I enjoy drawing, painting, and crafting—activities I would love to share with your children. I also come from a close family and understand how important it is to build trust, stay responsible, and support one another. You should consider me as your au pair because I bring both professional experience from the classroom and genuine enthusiasm for spending time with children. I’m kind and patient, but also confident in setting boundaries when needed.
