We are a family of four living in a house in Muswell Hill in London. Martin works in TV and I am an actress. We are both in our forties. Our children are Milo (6) and Nell (4). The children are at school every weekday from 8.45 until 3.30 or 4pm. We are a fun loving family who laugh a lot. We love Muswell Hill. It has lovely cafes, restaurants, pubs, boutiques and amazing woodland and parks. Muswell Hill is a 20 minute bus ride away from Highgate tube station, or a 20 minute walk from East Finchley. Both of these are on the Northern Line. It takes about an hour to get to the very centre of the city from our house. We hope you may be interested in coming to live with us. We can offer you £80 per week, a local bus pass, & room of your own in return for 30"hours per week of work. Our last au pair stayed for a full year, and she has visited twice for holidays since she left.
We are looking for someone over 24 years old, who is kind, calm, reliable and mature to take our children to school and to and bring them home every Monday to Friday. You would also need to take them to their after school activities, give them dinner and get them ready for bed. Flexibility on hours is vital. Extra pay available for any agreed overtime. You would need to do some light housework and keep your own room clean and tidy. We would also like the usual au pair dutues: washing and ironing the children's and your own laundry and putting it back into the wardrobes; helping the children tidy up their rooms; helping them with their homework and supporting their school development I am at home often, but also get acting work at short notice. So flexibility is important. In your free time we would love you to become independent and make new friends in London.
