We have never had an au pair before, but we have lots of friends who do and say it has been a great step for them and their families. My husband and I have flexible but busy jobs (he is a journalist and I am a part-time primary school teacher) and our children are always taking part in different activities after school. We also have a puppy who would love some extra attention! Our au pair would need to be flexible, helpful and reliable. We love to travel and learn languages and would be delighted to have someone from a different culture in our house. Bristol is an fun and vibrant city which has lots of offer a young visitor.
Meeting the children from school, taking them to clubs, supervising homework and giving them their evening meal. Some laundry, dishwasher and household chores. Dog walking too - we live near a few nice parks.
