We are a Greek couple and parents of a son, living on Paros, a main island of the Cyclades in Greece. We're both English speaking, have academic education and are professionally active. Welcoming an Au pair in our family is a new experience to us and we're looking forward to finding the right person, who is willing to share this journey with us. We are looking for a symbiotic relationship, which will be fruitfull for both you and us, since it will be a joint venture. About the family We are a private household with one school-age child (7 years old). We are looking for one stable person who will become a trusted part of our household and provide both housekeeping support and childcare assistance. This is intended to be a long-term position, not seasonal work.
LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER & CHILDCARE ASSISTANT – PAROS, GREECE A private family living in Paros, Greece is looking for a reliable, experienced and warm live-in Housekeeper & Childcare Assistant for a long-term position. -------------------- Main responsibilities -------------------- Housekeeping - General cleaning and daily organization of the home - Laundry and ironing - Keeping the house tidy and well organized - Changing bed linen and towels - Basic meal preparation / cooking for the family - Grocery shopping and household errands when needed Childcare - Supporting the family with the care of our 7-year-old child - Preparing simple meals/snacks for the child - Supervising the child when needed - Accompanying the child to activities or appointments when required - Helping maintain a calm, structured daily routine The ideal candidate should be calm, patient, responsible and genuinely comfortable around children. -------------------- Requirements -------------------- - Previous professional experience as a housekeeper, nanny, domestic helper or in a similar private household - Experience with school-age children is highly desirable - Willingness to work as a live-in employee - Good English communication skills - Ability to work independently and take initiative - Good references from previous employers - Clean and trustworthy background - Non-smoker preferred - Valid driving licence is a strong advantage - Willingness to relocate to Paros, Greece Greek language is not required initially. -------------------- Accommodation & benefits -------------------- - Private bedroom within the family residence - Food provided - Stable, long-term employment - Salary depending on experience and qualifications - Regular weekly day off - Legal employment and social insurance - A respectful and professional working environment We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in living and working in Paros long-term, rather than someone looking only for a short summer position. -------------------- Important -------------------- Please apply only if you are currently available or will become available shortly and are genuinely willing to relocate to Paros, Greece.
