Hello. We live in the small town of Cranleigh near to Guildford which has easy links to London. Cranleigh is a very family friendly town and has excellent facilities ( we have family membership to the local leisure centre and our au pair can use the pool, gym etc in her time off). There are loads of country walks to be had and a bicycle to use anytime. Primarily we would like you to look after our twin boys, who will be three in May, but also to look after our 12 year daughter and help her with homework etc . My wife, Magdalena, is Polish and we are keen to ensure that the twins learn both Polish and English - at home we speak English. Magdalena works from home and our daughter comes back from school at around 4pm. The twins are happy, healthy, good, naughty etc etc; just typical little boys! They are now starting to speak more and more and their personalities are forming. Of course we are biased but they are utterly adorable and so funny.
We are very much wanting an au pair who will regard herself as part of our family and would welcome her joining us doing weekend activities and trips if she wishes. However the weekends and evenings are her own time so she has the choice to do her own things if she wishes. Occasionally we will ask the au pair to babysit. The only housework would be to keep the nursery clean and tidy and as the au pair is part of the family she would eat with us. There is a separate sitting room with TV etc for the au pair to relax in if she did not want to spend the evenings with family. The au pair would be required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday mornings (during term time) to get the boys to nursery school (5 minutes walk) at 9am and pick them up at 12. Then to look after them until 5pm - reading, painting, playing the park etc etc. On Mondays and Fridays it would be from 9am until 5pm. The au pair will be insured to drive Magdalena's car and I will be happy to give her some "driving in the UK" lessons. We would like someone to be with us for a minimum of 6 months but ideally for a year so they get to know the twins and vice versa.
