We are a family of three, myself and two energetic boys. I work as an Environmental Consultant for a large engineering company. We like to spend time together as a family, enjoy walks and the beach, playing in the garden and generally doing fun things. We are a Christian family and are ideally looking for someone who loves God. We have a cat (Poppit) and our extended family live close by. This includes my Mum and Dad, my Sister and her husband (and two small children). The boys do Taekwondo, football, scouts and church club - they love playing with their friends in the garden. I'm an active person and cycle to work, go running and I'm learning piano (getting a piano this week and very excited!) and my eldest is learning the Ukelele. We live in a town called Penarth, which is a seaside town very close to Cardiff, the capital of Wales. It's a great place to live - with everything you would expect from a capital city, but also within easy reach of the countryside and beach. There are good transport links throughout the city and further afield. There is a café that's run by some people from my church called the 'International Cafe' which meets every Thursday night and is a great place for Au pairs to meet people - there are quite a few Au pairs in our town. I am looking for an energetic person who is keen to help out, engage with the children and take responsibility for the house when I am at work. Au pair job includes: - doing the school runs (taking children to and from school), which is a 20 minute walk away; - helping with housework; - babysitting in the evenings a couple of times a week - preparing simple meals Mon-Thursday (we all eat together) - supervise the children before/after school - I work Mon- Thursday so will be home on Fridays. This generally can be an extra day off for you, but would need flexibility at times if I need to work or need extra help with something
