EU nationals only please. We are an interesting, loving family who live in a beautiful small town called Midhurst in the south of English. London is one hour away by train (the station is 20 minutes away by car) and the sea is 30 minutes away. We have a large 5 bedroom house surrounded by a 2 acre garden. Both parents work as consultants and the father is often away on business and the mother has her own business working from home. Our 4 year old twins (a boy and girl) started school last year and we need help mainly with taking them to school, helping with home work, taking them on outings and playing with them. They are lovely children and well mannered and have a great sense of humour. We are looking for an independently minded mature au-pair who is loving, fun, trustworthy, organised and tidy. As the children are at school and therefore the au-pair is not needed for so many hours to look after the children, there will be some cleaning involved. We are looking for a female au-pair who is between 25 and 30 and has some English but wishes to improve their English and make friends and travel. You need to be interested in going out, meeting people and exploring England. We want someone to make the most of their au-pair year and not sit at home all the time. Our village is quite small so you may need to travel to other towns to meet other au-pairs or attend language school to meet people. There are a lot of interesting things to see in our area and our town has a modern gym where you can attend fitness classes.
Take the children to school and fetch them from Monday to Friday. You have access to a car for your use. (Every second week you will not be needed on a Friday and will be needed on a Saturday morning or afternoon). The rest of the weekend is yours to go out and meet friends or go to visit London. There will be 1 - 2 evening babysitting required each week. Cleaning of the house as the mother does all the washing (including the childrens) so expects help with the house cleaning. Tidying the children's rooms. Occasionally walking of our small dog (1 year old) when both parents are unavailable
