Hi, we are a family of two doctors (one surgeon, and one in industry- I work part-time), looking for a housekeeper/ childminder for our home and three lovely children. We live in the countryside, between Gatwick and Reigate (a lovely town in Surrey; about 35 mins on the train from London Victoria). We are a fun, active family. The children like to swim, cycle, trampoline, run around the fields with the dog (as well as colouring and reading, and sometimes TV!). They don't need to be watched all the time any more, but we would like someone responsible who we can leave with them when needed..
We are looking for someone who will be kind and helpful, able to be flexible, who will enjoy their time with us. We have had au pairs before, and still keep in touch, so we know what sort of works. We need somebody to help with children and house in the mornings, keep things ticking over (kitchen, make up beds, laundry, the usual things, but we let you work out your own routine), and help with tea and sometimes bed, and a little, not too much homework. (bedtime is easy, the children are no trouble these days, they are quite independent and the elder two stay at school a couple of times per week). Afternoons, evenings you can have free any time by arrangement..Sometimes need to pick up from school. We do need a driver, as we live out of town, but we will provide a car for your own use. We can introduce you to other au pair girls nearby..
