Dear Au pair We are a friendly and easy going family looking for mainly help with childcare and housework. • We would like someone who likes working with children, playing games, who is kind, caring, and hardworking and has initiative and common sense. • We would prefer someone who has some experience looking after small children and speaks Basic English. • We expect you to stay with us for at least a year or longer to ensure continuity for the kids. For your help, we will be happy to provide you pocket money of 90 pounds every week, your own bedroom, free broadband, free UK simcard with 250 minutes and 500 texts every month. We are both doctors and work in city of Leeds, Yorkshire. My daughter is 6 years old and son 4 years old. We live in a 4 bedroom house and you will have a bedroom for yourself. The Preschool for my son and school for my daughter is just 5 minutes walk from home. Train station is 10 minutes walk. Leeds Airport is just 2 miles from our house. Everything is very near. We have had several au pairs in the past 5 years and we maintain a fantastic relationship with all of them. As a family we would like to welcome you more as a member of our family and hope you enjoy the time you spend with us!!!
My daughter goes to school between 8:30 am to 3pm everyday, Monday to Friday, except Wednesday when she finishes school at 4.30pm. My son goes to Preschool Nursery, Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm. You are free between 9am to 3pm. Your role would include all children related activities, these being getting them ready for nursery & school, feeding them, drop off daughter to school at 8:30 and son at Preschool at 9am. Pick them at 3pm & looking after them till 8pm. Generally keeping the common areas clean and tidy on a daily basis, importantly keeping the children's room tidy & clean, Cooking for children, Doing their laundry and ironing, Changing the kids bedding, keeping their room clean . We are both doctors and have busy jobs. We would like you to look after the children on Sunday (8AM to 8 PM with a break of 2hours for you free to relax). You will get Saturday free for yourself every week. We are flexible about this and can discuss your requirements. I know you will have to work extra hours and that is why I am offering more money. We are offering this position for someone who wants to work more and earn more like Au Pair Plus/ Mothers help. I will make sure that by the end of one year you will be confident of speaking good English. We respect your privacy and show appreciation to all your hard work.
