We live in London (SW) with almost everything very close by; High Street shops, train (tube), rail, buses, parks and the river Thames just 5 minutes walk from home. I have had au pairs since my mother passed away in 2010 (my mother used to take care of my two daughters). I require someone who really loves children, is very responsible and can take care of the house and be with my daughters nicely and give them confidence to do their own tasks. We are very easy going people and treat people very well so are looking for the same in return. Over the past years, I have had au pairs from various countries, including France, Spain, Hungary, Austria, Moldova and Romania and I feel it has been a good experience (whether they wished to improve their English language or have a life experience and help a family).
I require someone to supervise my daughters (aged 11 and 13). Someone very organised so that they can help my daughters with their school uniforms, clothes, and guide them where needed. I require Someone very trustworthy and honest with a great sense of responsibility and someone who can also have fun with the children like a family member. I also require someone who can do general light cleaning of the house. It would be a real advantage if you are able to cook proper meals and enjoy doing that as I require this during the week days. Importantly someone mature and responsible who can become part of the family - someone who would not see this as just a job. This can be a wonderful experience for both the family and au pair, but both must be completely honest and open with each other. I have learned and shared many nice things from au pairs who have lived with us and they from us - some of whom have now become close family friends.
