We are a young multicultural (Russian and British) family with two children – our eldest is energetic, intelligent and very extroverted, our youngest is a gentle little darling. We live in a small village close to the coast in Kent, between Dover and Canterbury. Both are about 15 minutes drive away, or about 25 minutes if taking the train. If it is important to you that you be able to get around very easily, a car is a must. We both drive and can, to a reasonable degree, support an au pair that does not, but it is preferable that you have a driving licence and are comfortable with driving on the left side of the road. :) We all speak Russian and English, but are quite happy for a third language to join the mix, as long as we can communicate in one of them!
We're looking for someone who is creative, positive and patient, ideally with experience of looking after intelligent children with strong wills! We love to be creative with food and appreciate people who enjoy the same. We all contribute to looking after the home and would expect you to play an equal part. We hardly ever watch TV, always eat together as a family and would prefer someone who is not glued to their mobile phone all the time.
