Hello! We are looking for an Au pair to start at the beginning of September 2015 for a period of about 12 months. It is important that you are happy, enthusiastic and most of all, really enjoy being with children. We have 3 active, lively children. Our eldest, Adam, is 11 and is very artistic and loves to sing and dance at every opportunity. His sisters, twins aged 9, are fun-loving and energetic. They are all very friendly and will welcome you into the family. They are both learning the clarinet and go to gymnastics and swimming. We would like someone who is a non-smoker and able to speak good English. The role requires you to work for approximately 30-35 hours a week plus 1 or 2 evenings babysitting. We both work full-time so during the school term, we will need you to help get the children ready in the mornings, give them breakfast and walk them to school. The school is 10 minutes walk along our street. Then in the afternoons around 3.15pm they will need to be collected and walked home, and given their dinner between 5-6pm. Being able to prepare meals is important. Some days, we may need you to take them to after school activities around the local area. It is important that you will be able to ensure that they do their homework after school and you may need to help them where necessary, particularly Mathematics and English. We would like someone who is organised and can keep the house tidy, kitchen clean, iron and hang out the laundry. We already have a weekly cleaner so we are not expecting you to clean the whole house, we just expect that you will keep the
Overseeing getting children ready and walking them to school (just the girls); Pick up after school; Organising evening meal for children; Overseeing homework is completed; Cleaning/Washing associated with the children; Taking to after school activities on occasions; Occasional baby sitting; During school holidays - all day care, organising outings, craft, music and games.
