We are a friendly family with two boys, 8 years and 6 years looking for a live in Aupair/nanny who is: - Good with children (some experience with children is necessary, but it does not have to be formal), loving and caring. - Energetic, hard working, organised, reliable and responsible; - Able to act on your own initiative to help keep the house running smoothly; - Able to cook - A non-smoker - You must speak good English. You will need the correct paperwork to be allowed to work in the UK. - A female over the age of 25 - Has checkable references and is prepared to have a CRB check - Has a European or UK driving license and has driven regularly in the last 6 months. - Can commit for a minimum of 6 – 12 months We live in a lovely house in Chalfont St Peters with good access to the Metropolitan tube line and Chiltern mainline into London which is 20 minutes away by train.
About the job: We need you to work approximately 40 hours per week (we will discuss what might suit you and us best) and the role includes: - Supporting working parents with housekeeping, and general tasks to keep a family home running smoothly - Getting the children’s uniforms, equipments and bags ready for school each day - Dropping and collecting the boys from school. The driving distance is about 20-25 minutes. - Looking after the children in the afternoons, including overseeing homework and reading, playing games with them, taking them to the park or after school activities, etc.; - During school holidays, looking after the children at home or taking them to activities - Giving the kids dinner and getting them ready for bed (when needed) - Housework such as washing, ironing, cleaning/tidying, shopping, admin work - Simple cooking 2-3 times a week. In addition, we would need up to 2 evenings babysitting per week by arrangement. Some weekend working involved. We will provide you with full board and lodging, and wireless broadband access. All living expenses and food will be paid and we will pay between £120 - £150 per week, depending upon the hours we agree and experience. You will have access to a car. Ideal start date would be mid July 2015.
