We are looking for someone who would like to live in a lovely country village in return for housekeeping and companionship for my husband who has recently been diagnosed in the early stages of a neurological condition similar to Alzheimer's whilst I am working full time. We are currently converting a barn to provide accommodation, and are happy to consider eg a single mother with a child - there is a lovely primary school in the village. Our two daughters will be away at university and our son at boarding school, hence the need for companionship for my husband when I have to work away from home long days and occasionally overnight.
Housework, some cooking/snack/meal preparation for my husband when I'm away at work, taking him for a drive sometimes.
