We are a happy family with three young boys - identical 5 year old twins and a 2 year old. Life is never boring (or quiet!) in our house. We live in the beautiful English countryside, just a short journey from the medieval city of Salisbury. We are looking for an independent and hardworking female au pair / housekeeper. Your English must be good enough to communicate with us. We live in an old manor house which we are currently renovating, so please be aware that the house is a bit of a building site! Your large room is complete though :-). Although we like to have lots of fun, we also work hard too. Anyone who is interested in joining our family should be willing to 'go the extra mile' and not wait to be asked to do something. We will include you on some of our family days out, but hope that you'll understand we need time alone as a family too. The right candidate will want a social life outside of our home or enjoy some alone time. We are looking for a mature candidate, preferably over 24 years old (but we will consider someone younger who is very mature for her age). Must be able to multi task (for example, cook dinner while watching the 3 boys and have a load of laundry going). Although we live out of town, we will provide a bus pass to our au pair so she can come and go as she pleases. Salisbury is about 15 minutes away by car or bus and there is a train station in Salisbury which provides excellent links (London, 90 minutes). We hope to hear from you!
-Assist in looking after the children -Tidy up after children -Responsible for children's laundry and ironing -Cook some healthy meals as needed for kids -Help children with homework -Read to children -Do art projects with children -Play outdoors with kids / take them for nature walks -Some housework / gardening -Au pair would be required to work some weekends but would have two full weekdays off when working weekends.
