Hi my husband Julian is half Spanish his father was from Santander. My stepson 14 Joe lives with us for half the week and with his mother in Luton the other half. We currently live in St Albans but will be moving to Kings Langley village in Jan/Feb 2014 where our two children go to the Rudolf Steiner school. Joe will continue to go to school in St Albans so we will need help driving him to St Albans. Our children understand a little Spanish but I would really like them to learn some more with you. I work free lance and part time with Julian, we both work as communication coaches in the business sector. St Albans and Kings Langley both have a train station with trains to London taking 20-25 minutes. The Steiner school is a more European based education with the emphasis on the education of the head the body and the spirit.
We are looking for someone who is 25 or more and who would like to live as part of our family. You will have your own room but would eat etc with us. We need you to have been driving regularly for at least 2 years as we would like you to be able to take Joe to school in St Albans (6 miles away). Or - Until we move the drive is to Kings Langley picking up the Xavier at 12.30 and Lolita at 3.30. I would like some help with the house work, cleaning/tidying the kitchen at night and preparing the breakfast. Hoovering and cleaning the bathroom when needed. If you can cook that is a bonus but not essential. Julian is a very good cook but I usually cook for the children (not so good!) There is a language school in St Albans which I would recommend you go to. The classes are 9-12.30 and cost £25. I would expect to need you for about 20 hours a week to play and look after the children and a little cleaning and ironing. This may vary and some weeks it may be less other weeks more. I would like to include one evening baby sitting a week. We will provide you with all your meals and lodging and pocket money of £65 a week.
