We are a bilingual English-Russian family with 2 lovely and lively girls (4 and 7 years old) looking for a responsible, fun and caring au pair plus (25-30 hrs per week), from early September 2013. We would like to hear from you if you: - are a native Russian speaking au pair (as we'd like our girls to practise their Russian with the au pair) - have the right to work in the UK - have previous experience working with children (with checkable references) - are a non smoker - are calm, warm and friendly but firm, responsible and with a genuine interest in working with children. - will be interested to stay with us for a minimum of 12 months.
Both girls go to school, so the au-pair's duties will include the usual: - Getting kids ready for school in the morning, - Dropping off/ collecting from school. - After-school activities, walks, playdates, etc - Encouraging kids' Russian vocabulary and general development. - Taking care of their rooms, laundry and possessions. - Cooking healthy meals for them - Light household duties (keeping the kitchen and play room tidy, unloading the dishwasher in the morning, etc). - Light (supplementary) shopping for the family. - Occasional babysitting and additional help during school holidays.
