Hello and welcome to our family! We are a warm and open-minded family of four – our two lovely daughters (at the age of 7 and 5 years), mama Nicole and papa Simon. One is already in school, and the younger one goes to kindergarten. Both girls are curious, active, and love to play, laugh, and discover new things. At the same time they are quite easy to handle. As we are both working, we are looking for a kind, responsible, and positive person who enjoys spending time with children and becoming part of our daily family life. It’s important to us that you feel comfortable and truly welcome in our home. We would love to support you in learning and improving your German, and we are happy to help you settle in and feel at home here. From time to time, especially on weekends, we would enjoy showing you the beautiful sides of our region, going on small trips together, and introducing you to the many unique aspects of German culture ;) We live in the lively city of Koblenz (right in the middle of Frankfurt/M and Cologne) with lots of opportunities to go out, meet people, and explore – so you’ll have plenty of chances to enjoy your free time as well. We are looking for someone who is friendly and reliable person. In return, we offer a respectful, caring environment where you can feel like a true member of the family. We are excited to get to know you!
The main responsibility of you will be to support us in the afternoon with our two daughters. Our younger daughter needs to be picked up from kindergarten between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. Our older daughter finishes school depending on the day, usually around 2:00 or 4:00 pm. In the afternoons, it would be great if you could either prepare a simple meal or warm up pre-cooked food for the children. You would also spend time with them playing, doing activities, or accompanying them to their sports or music classes. Additionally, we would appreciate your support in making sure that homework for primary school is done. We usually return home or finish working by 6:00 pm at the latest, although on many days we are home earlier. Our daily schedule is quite flexible. All important places (kindergarten, school, activities) are within walking or cycling distance, so a driver’s license is not necessarily required.
