Hi! We are a warm, welcoming family living in the suburbs about 40 minutes from New York City. We have two wonderful children who are in school full day and bring so much joy and energy to our home. As a family, we love staying active, spending time outdoors, and doing lots of arts and crafts together. We value kindness, communication, and creating a positive, supportive home environment, and we’re excited to welcome an au pair who will feel like part of our family.
The au pair’s primary role is to provide flexible support for our family, especially during school hours when unexpected needs arise. This includes being on call to pick up the children from school if they are sick, staying home with them on sick days, helping on half days, and providing care on days when school is closed but I am working. I am a teacher in a neighboring town, so reliability and flexibility during the school day are important. During school vacations, we would also love an au pair who enjoys going on adventures and spending quality time exploring and having fun with the kids.
