We are a busy, fun loving, easy going family of four based in Tooting Bec (Wandsworth) in South West London. It is a great area as we are surrounded by parks, cafes, good restaurants, shops, gyms and pubs and only 30 minutes to the centre of London (Oxford Street, Buckingham Palace) by underground (which is close by). Our names are Nathalie and Ben. We have a son called Freddie who is 10 years old, he is very active and loves sports and dancing. Our daughter, Tilly, is 7 years old and she loves art and cooking and is showing an interest in music and drama. We are looking for an au pair, with good spoken/written English who is a relaxed, kind and honest individual to act as a responsible big sister to our children and we are very keen for you to become very much part of the family unit.
We would need your help for 25 hours a week as follows: Morning hours are 7.30am - 8.45am: giving the children breakfast, getting school bags ready, getting them dressed/teeth brushed and then walking them to school which is about 25 minutes from the house - no driving involved. Afternoon hours are (depending on after school club times) from 4pm - 7pm: collecting the children from school, supervising homework, cooking supper (it would be an advantage if you liked cooking) and bathing them before we get home from work. Other duties would be to do the children’s laundry to include their clothes and bed sheet/towels and clean/tidy their rooms and we may require babysitting but not every week. We have a cleaning lady so you won’t need to do any other housework but we would like some help with small tasks like emptying the dishwasher.
