Our family consists of Loz (Mum), Bali (Dad), Oliver (currently 17 months old) and Charlotte (currently 3 months old) We don't have any family pets at the moment. We currently have an Au Pair who has been with us for 12 months but she is going to University so we are looking for a new Au Pair to join us when she leaves in the summer. We hope you like the look of our family and if you are interested or have any questions please get in touch. We live in a 4 bedroom house in Portsmouth, Hampshire. Portsmouth is located on the South coast so there is plenty to do and see. We live a short walk away from a supermarket, bus stop, train station and a children's park. The buses and trains are well linked to the city centre and the beach and the trains can get you to almost anywhere in the country. In Portsmouth there are lots of shops, bars, restaurants, gyms, Cinemas, as well as lots of tourist things to see. There are 2 language schools in Portsmouth, as well as the local colleges. I am currently on Maternity Leave and go back to work in August and Bali works in the local hospital. We are an active family - I love to play hockey and rugby and Bali is a rugby coach too. We love having our current Au Pair in our home and consider her as one of the family. We are happy for you to spend your free time with us but equally happy if you'd like your own space, doing your own thing.
We are looking for an Au Pair who has experience with very young children. We are looking for someone to stay with us for at least 12 months. You will be expected to look after the children 5 days a week and babysit 2 weeknights. You will be required to play with them, going out for walks or to the park (weather permitting), go to play groups, feed them, dress them and any general care required during the day. You will be expected to clean up after yourselves and the children but it is important to us that they are safe and happy - that is your priority. We might ask you to empty the dishwasher or hang out the clean washing but you will not get a big list of jobs to do everyday, housework will be minimal. Whilst you are with us you will have your own bedroom and bathroom. This will be your responsibility to keep tidy and clean. You will also have access to WIFI in the house and you will be given an English mobile phone should you need to stay in contact with us. You will be given time off at Christmas, Summer and Easter which will be paid.
