Dear Host Family, My name is Núria, and I'm so excited to reach out and introduce myself. I'm a 19-year-old student from a beautiful village in Catalonia, Spain. I would describe myself as a cheerful, easygoing, and empathetic person who truly values kindness, honesty, and good energy in my daily life. My motivation for becoming an Au Pair goes beyond just traveling; it is about stepping out of my comfort zone and growing both personally and professionally. I'm not just looking for a place to stay, but for a family to bond with, become a part of, and share meaningful moments with. I am looking forward to integrating into your routine, sharing my culture, learning about yours, and helping out with whatever is needed around the house to make our daily life easier and more organized. I'm a very proactive and reliable person who loves being helpful. Whether it is playing with the children, helping with daily tasks, or simply being there when someone needs a chat, I am always ready to jump in with a big smile. I believe that a positive attitude can make a big difference in a child’s day, and I always try to bring that energy to everything I do. I am someone who genuinely enjoys being around people, and I am committed to creating a warm, supportive atmosphere in your home. I believe I qualify for this position because I have a solid background in childcare and a proven ability to adapt to new environments. I have experience looking after children in my community, and I also volunteered at my local school, where I helped the teachers in the classroom—an experience that taught me a lot about supporting children’s learning and development. Furthermore, my time as an exchange student in the United States taught me how to embrace a new culture and become part of a host family, which gave me the maturity and confidence to take on this new chapter. With my Cambridge B2 English certificate and my native fluency in Spanish and Catalan, I am confident that we will communicate openly and build a strong, lasting bond.
