Introduction personnelle
Hi! My name is Luca, I am 19 years old and I live in northern Italy. My family consists of me, my sister who is two years older than me, and my parents. We have had dogs in our garden for many years. I graduated in July 2025 and received many job offers, but they did not reflect the work I would like to do when I grow up. I would like to become a physical therapist, so I tried to get into university in September. Unfortunately, I didn't get in, so I studied nursing for a few months, but then I gave up because it wasn't what I wanted to do. So now I'm here waiting for next September to retake the test, and in the meantime, I want to have a different kind of experience abroad.
I am a cheerful and energetic guy who loves playing with children. I have had previous experience with them, which made me realize that I would like to spend more time with them. I really enjoy nature and traveling with my friends, as you can see from some of the photos uploaded to my profile. I really enjoy cooking—after all, our cuisine is the best in the world :). I'm very athletic, I like running outdoors on dirt trails and swimming, and I'm also a big fan of my favorite team, Vicenza.
Since leaving university in December 2025, I immediately started looking for something to do this year and found this fantastic opportunity online. Becoming an Au Pair would be amazing for me because I would be able to combine two of my great passions: children and traveling to discover new places and people. For me, this is an opportunity to learn a lot about life and challenge myself with people I don't know and in new places, as well as being a very important opportunity to learn English well. My level of English is just above B1, but I would like to learn to speak and understand it without any problems, allowing me to travel the world and meet people without any difficulties. Leaving home is not easy, but for a limited time of up to 6 months, I would give my all to become part of a new family. I am very excited about the idea of being part of a family of strangers and helping them with everything that needs to be done around the house.
