Introduction personnelle

My name is Dafne and I'm a creative and enterprising 19-year-old. I'm Italian, but since I was born in a bilingual region, I've been learning French since kindergarten. I also have excellent English, having spent a year studying abroad in the United States. I also studied German for four years and have a basic level of Spanish. I've had experience working with children of all ages; I babysat an 8-month-old baby from the Netherlands and looked after children between the ages of 4 and 13. I've also worked at a summer camp for children and as a waitress. I'm curious and enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and discovering new cultures. I'd like to travel the world and visit new places step by step. During my study abroad experience in America, I realized that the best way to understand a different culture is to meet and talk to the people who are part of it. My host family in America had three young children, and from them I learned a lot that adults sometimes take for granted. I also love spending time with children because I believe they have a unique and magical way of seeing the world. I think an au pair experience is a great way to combine what I've learned from my previous experiences with children with my love of travel.
