Introduction personnelle

Dear host family, My name is Matilda, and I am 24 years old. I come from Ghana in West Africa. I am currently living with my mom (who is not my biological mother). English is my second language but is officially used here. I have been learning German every day since September 2024. I haven’t been to Germany before, but I have had encounters with Germans where I was their tour guide and research assistant three times. My experiences with them made me fall in love with the country. I am eager to improve my German and want to have real experiences in the country and the people. I recently completed my national service as a librarian, and I have a bachelor’s degree in Education with Information Studies, but I am finding myself unhappy in my field and want to discover what job I could be passionate about. I figured that becoming an au pair is an ideal choice, as it sounds like a great opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and embark on a new adventure to meet new people from a different country. I am eagerly looking forward to finding my au pair family!
