Introduction personnelle

Hello ! I'd like to leave around 15 April until 24 May 2024. I'm a second-year communications student in Belgium and I've been trying to learn English for years, but my level has improved very little. My biggest difficulties are listening and speaking, i.e. having a discussion with someone in English. Being an au pair would really suit me because I love children. As part of my student job, I looked after children a lot. It was in shopping malls, and we offered a variety of workshops, including face-painting, arts and crafts, learning how to grow flowers and so on. I like playing with childrfen, teaching them things and they teach me things, I love this exchange. After all, I have 5 years' experience with children thanks to my student job. The other reason is that I find it really difficult to develop my English in my own country and that's important for my studies. I think that total immersion could really benefit me. I was in a youth movement for 7 years, a bit like the Scouts. I did my last 3 years of secondary school in drama (12 hours a week). My hobbies are novels, theatre, cinema, singing... I'm an optimistic, committed person, I see things through to the end, I'm generous, helpful, friendly, dynamic, I'm very empathetic and everyone's well-being is important to me.
