Introduction personnelle

Since I have always loved working with children, I have wanted to become an Au Pair even before I graduated from high school, however, I didn't have the financial means back then. Now, as I have to stay abroad for at least three months in the course of my studies, this is the perfect opportunity to combine these two! Dear Host Family, welcome to my profile! My name is Sara, I am 22 years old and I live in Dortmund, Germany. I am studying English and Philosophy to be a high school teacher and I am close to finishing my Bachelor's degree. I already have some experience in working with kids: - I have had multiple babysitter jobs over the years, - I have worked and had internships at multiple schools (elementary, as well as high schools) where I would play, teach and help with homework, - I have worked part-time at a daycare for children with special needs (aged 3 months to 7 years) for ten months where I would change the children, play with them and prepare and feed them their meals, and - I am the oldest child of three and since our parents have worked for most of our childhoods, a lot of the child-care would fall onto me. I have had my driver's license for five years and I also know first aid. I am great with pets. I am looking forward to meeting you!
