Introduction personnelle

My name is Mathilde Hejmdal Pedersen, and im 21 years old. I live with my parents in Denmark. I have heard a lot about the Au-pair programme and find it very interesting. In the summer I graduated from Silkeborg Business College in Silkeborg. Do to my growing interest in living abroad, I chose to go to America for at year to study as a foreign exchange student back in 2011. In that year I developed myself a lot, I became more independent and I learned to take care of myself, and handle my own problems. In my everyday life, I take school and work very seriously. I just returned home to Denmark after two months in London, where I worked as a receptionist in an international company. Do to the time I have spent in both America but also London, I speak fluent English; I also speak a little bit of German. I have a growing interest in taking care of children, and I just love spending time with them. My mom has had her own daycare, so im very used to children, also under the age of 2. I also have a little nephew, he’s now 6 years old and I love to pick him up at the kindergarten, take him to swimming lessons and so on.
