We are a family with 3 children living on the beautiful north Wales coast within walking distance of the beach and a short bus / car ride to the mountains or the city of Bangor. Our oldest daughter attends a pre-school every day and we make an effort to take the other two children out every day to toddler groups or places of interest (animal parks, playgrounds etc). We all enjoy being outside! There are a lot of villages where we live and it is a very popular tourist area throughout the summer months because of the beaches but there are always quiet places to be found too. The coastline is amazing and we regularly go to the beach or the mountains throughout the year to explore. Around our home is very quiet, but the neighbours are very friendly. We often have grandparents and relatives come to visit and there is a real 'community spirit' where we live. The children are very funny and have outgoing personalities. They have lots of friends at the pre-school and other groups. They go to bed quite early in the evening so the house is quiet at night! You should be fun-loving, energetic and willing to be part of the family! We can help you with learning English, even if you are a beginner. We hope you will join in with our family life but we're sure you will also want to explore and find activities yourself too.
We are looking for a fun and energetic person to help get the children up in the morning, preparing breakfast, taking them to activities, playing with them during the day and assisting and help with some general light housekeeping (not much, just occasional hoovering etc). We expect the day to be between 8:30-14:30 but some flexibility would be good and we would of course be flexible with you too. Weekends are free but some occasional help would be welcome. We like to do things as a family in our free time, and you would of course be welcome to join us, being part of the family is very important. There are courses available in the nearby university for studying English too.
