Happy family seeking fun, caring nanny to join the mad house. I'm Freddie married to Mike and we have 2 lovely 'Smalls'... Lucca - age 9 - ( often upside down... budding gymnast) and Wilf - age 7 - who has recently gone a bit football mad. We live on the edge of a town about 40k north of London. We live in an old qwerky house with beautiful garden on a little river. It's surrounded by trees and feels very 'english'. Despite the lovely countryside around here we are only 40 minutes by train to London and everything that London has to offer. We're on the edge of a town with shops, pubs and lots of things going on. As our au pair you'll have you own double bedroom in a separate part of the house with your own bathroom so you can still have some privacy and your own space. As a family we're nice and active - we love skiing, camping, going biking and rugby depending on the season. The children also swim and go to other after school clubs. We love being outside as much as possible - and have an outdoor pizza oven and grill. And I (mum) love my garden which Lucca helps me in. (Wilf not so much - he just likes kicking footballs into the plants) :-)

The 'job' bit is getting the children their breakfast, the school run before and after school and lifts to clubs, helping with homework, cooking meals and basic household stuff for the kids. The 'important' bit is being caring, sociable, enjoying getting stuck into stuff, being positive and wearing a smile and being that extra someone special. While the children are at school you'll have your own free time to explore, learn the language and use the time how you'd like to for the most part. We'll actively help you to learn the language and experience good old British culture.
