We are basically looking for someone that will fit easily into our family routine. Someone who is friendly and positive and lots of fun but can also be responsible and use their common sense and initiative. Above all someone who will be able to bond with our daughter and look after her as though she was family. We are originally from South Africa and love outdoor living and great food and people! I hope to hear back from you and whether you think you have what we are looking for and visa versa!
We are looking for an au pair for our very special little girl. She will be one year old next week. We live in the Marston/Headington area of Oxford. We would be looking for: Preferably an Afrikaans-speaking nanny, good childcare experience, including practical work with children (nursery, school, summer camps-will consider other experience for instance with siblings), fair to good level of English. On duty approx. 5-7 hours per day, 5 days per week (to be discussed as the main days we would need are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). 2 evenings of babysitting per week Free time minimum 2 full days plus 3 evenings Minimum pocket money (open to negotiation) £80 for 25 hrs, £95 for 30 hrs, £110 for 35hrs Light-average housework (help out in the house and perhaps also with some cooking especially for baby). We will provide a lovely double bedroom (with own TV, blu ray player, access to hundreds of movies!) Room has view of the garden. Shared upstairs bathroom. House is located round the corner from shops (supermarket/take-aways/delicatessen/Dr surgery/pharmacy etc), is close to local library/swimming pool/gym), local bus routes into city centre/Summertown etc.
