We are a warm, relaxed and loving family with 2 gorgeous children. An energetic 3 year old boy who is clever, funny and adorable…with the longest eyelashes ever… and a beautiful 1 and a half year old girl who is easy going, sociable and very cheeky…with so much hair! We live in Muswell Hill, North London which is a gorgeous leafy suburb with great parks, cafés and shops and is only 30 minutes on the underground to central London. I am an Australian stay-at-home mum and classical singer and my husband is Spanish (originally from Madrid) and works long hours in the city. I am wanting to re-start my career which is why we would like some help. We are looking for a native Spanish speaking au pair who can speak to our children in Spanish and who can also communicate with me in both Spanish and English. Working hours would be about 30 hours a week and include helping to get the children ready in the morning, looking after our little girl for a couple of hours some days of the week and helping with dinner and bedtime. We would also require occasional weekend help and babysitting one or two nights a week. The hours would depend on your and our schedules and we are able to be a bit flexible and would require a bit of flexibility in weekly schedules as well. The role would include some cooking for the children and for you, cleaning up afterwards, dressing and changing, babysitting our daughter sometimes when I drive our son to nursery (he attends nursery 3 days a week), taking our daughter to toddler activities occasionally and light cleaning. We have a cleaner once a week so the cleaning would be limited to tidying up after mealtimes, tidying up toys and keeping their rooms tidy. We are looking for someone who is kind, patient, affectionate, reliable, full of energy and loves spending time with children. We would want you to play with the children and assist with their development. We don’t like them to watch too much TV so lots of activities and games are a must! We would want you to feel welcome in our home and just as you would be helping to care for and develop our children, we would want to help you with your goals whether they are to study or to develop your English. We have a fantastic home with a recently refurbished loft which would be your space. You would have an en suite bathroom, king size bed, small living area, TV and wifi. Requirements are: recent (within 3 months) CRB check, previous professional experience looking after young children and references from previous employers. We would pay competitive au pair rates and are looking for someone available now. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and can conduct the initial interview face to face or via skype. Tenemos un señora que limpia una vez por semana por lo que la necesidad de limpiar se limita a recoger después de las comidas, poner en orden los juguetes y mantener las habitaciones de los niños ordenadas. Estamos buscamos alguien que sea amable, paciente, cariñosa, de confianza, llena de energía y que le encante pasar tiempo con niños. Nos gustaría alguien que juegue con los niños y ayudar con su desarrollo. A nosotros no nos gusta que los niños vean demasiada televisión por lo que se necesita una gran cantidad de innovación y juegos para mantener a los niños entretenidos! Queremos que tu te sientas bienvenida en nuestra casa ya que tu nos vas a ayudar a cuidar y en el desarrollo de nuestros hijos, y nos gustaría ayudarte con tus objetivos ya sean estudios o mejorar tu Inglés. Tenemos una casa fantástica con una guardilla recientemente renovada que sería tu habitación. Tiene un cuarto de baño privado, cama “king size” y TV y Wi-Fi. Los requisitos son: reciente verificación CRB (de menos de 3 meses), experiencia profesional anterior cuidando de niños pequeños con referencias anteriores y un tiempo mínimo de 6 meses, o preferiblemente un ano.
