We're a busy family that likes to enjoy life. The boys love sport and running around, as well as making things and playing games (traditional and on the computer). We love being outside and meeting friends and think an au pair would be a great addition to our household. We're looking for someone who can muck in as part of the family. You should enjoy doing things with the children but feel confident about telling them whose boss! You'll need to respect our home but we'll respect your privacy and your time off too. We have a large double room in the loft with windows to the front and back. There is a bathroom in the loft too (although this might be used by the rest of the family. We live in West Norwood, which is between Brixton and Crystal Palace in South London. We have a 4 bedrrom terraced house with a garden and 2 bathrooms. We have lovely neighbours and the children have many friends locally. We also have a cat called Frieda.
We need an au pair to look after our 2 children for about 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday) plus 1 babysitting night per week. Generally this will be for 1 hour in the morning before school and then maybe 3 hours in the evening for 5 days or 4 hours in the evening if only 4 days. Whilst looking after the children you may need to take and collect them from school, cook for them and take them to clubs or friends' houses. You'll also be expected to muck in with family chores, such as stacking and emptying the dishwasher, hanging the washing out. You will not be asked to clean but will be expected to keep things tidy.
