We are a friendly, happy, family of four, and we are looking for a kind hearted person who loves children. Someone who’s responsible and caring, active and and fun, to be a big sister to our daughter - 61/2 and our son - 5. Our Aupair must be available to start September 3rd and stay until the end of the academic year 22nd July 2016 Our Aupair must be an experienced driver and able to drive a manual car. We need someone who likes to cook and has good English. We live in a lovely country village, Great Missenden, only 40 mins to central London by train. There is a really active Aupair network with plenty of social opportunities. There are also local colleges offering English lessons. My husband, Andy, works full time and commutes into London every day. I am a freelance costume designer, so I am unsure week to week about my work commitments. We are a really close family and when I’m not working I like to look after the children myself, so there will be lots of unscheduled time off for our Aupair. Our children are both bright, kind, happy and play together well. Our daughter has a great imagination and loves playing games and making things with glitter and glue. Our son loves to build lego and play Starwars he is an active little boy who loves a cuddle and will be starting school in September.
Every day will be different. Our Aupair will do some or all of the following. On the busiest day our AuPair will start looking after the kids at 7.30, finish breakfast and get them ready for school and drop off at 8.45. We live 5 minutes from school. After school pick up at 3.15, take the children to after- school clubs, playdates, entertain them and help them with home work and reading. Prepare supper for the children, feed them, bath them and put them to bed at 7. Two evenings of baby sitting per week. Light housework, for example, helping with the washing, tidying up the kitchen and children's mess/toys. Our Aupair will have their own room with TV and WiFI and a shared bathroom with the children. We would like a non smoker with a clean valid driving licence.
