We are looking for a fun loving, reliable and responsible female au pair to live in with our friendly family for a year. I am a teacher and my husband is a psychologist. Our two boys of 8 and 10 are well behaved and love playing creative games, going on walks, swimming and listening to stories. We are used to having English language students living with us and so have a nice cosy room with a pretty view of leafy Oxford from the window. We are about 15 minutes bus ride from Oxford city centre and live in a safe quiet area. We look forward to negotiating with you if you are interested in working with us. We would like you to get the boys ready for school in the morning, make their packed lunch and take them to school. You will then have several hours of free time on most days, until you pick them up from school at 3.15 and look after them until I return home from work around 5.30. You will also need to be able to babysit regularly one evening a week and very occasionally one evening on the weekends. Other than that you will be free almost every evening, and most week ends. We would also need you to look after the children now and again when they are a little unwell and cannot go to school. I would also like you do some light house work such as folding washing, cooking a meal now and again, light tidying etc but all this can be negotiated. As our au pair you would be welcome to take part in some of our family activities, eat with us and spend time practicing your English with us if you so wished.
