Dear au pair We are looking for someone to be part of our family and to come and enjoy the English culture. We are a fun family who enjoy laughing together and cooking really good food as we are both chefs. My husband works as a chef manager and I am a training manager for a large catering company, I travel quite a lot for work and have to leave early in the mornings. We have 2 girls the eldest is 11 and is starting secondary school she is very caring and helps around the house. My youngest is 9 and is in year 4 at school, she is very funny and loves to play. Both my children love to do hair, makeup and nails they are very girlie. So hopefully you will be happy to have a make over. They love one direction! We live only a 20 minute train ride into the centre of London where most of our au pairs go at the weekend. There are also many au pairs in the area who always meet up and go out.
The main thing I need an au pair for is to help with the girls if I have to be away for work. Our au pair at the moment helps get them ready in the morning into there uniform and making breakfast. They then help do their hair and walk them down to school (only when my husband and I are at work) school is a 5 minute walk away. Then some light housework, putting a wash on, making beds, hoovering and general tidy round, the house is not big. Most of the au pairs are usually finished by about 10.30am and you are free for the day. Sometimes you may need to pick the girls up from school and stay with them until we get home. Babysitting is usually only about once a week. The girls are quite grown up so do not need much looking after. We have had au pairs for the last 5 years and we still have a good relationship with all of the girls. One of our au pairs who left 2 years ago still comes back to stay every couple of months she is like my third daughter.
